AS WE know, most towns and cities like to attract companies into their towns and places such as Oxford and Cambridge are successful with this, no doubt helped by the colleges.
But Brighton and Hove can be even more successful because it is the city by the sea and it is a very attractive place, plus it also has two first-class universities and very good schools and colleges.
Here in Sussex we also have top seaside towns such as Worthing, Eastbourne, Hastings and Bognor Regis, all able to attract firms.
I have always been very interested with what goes on throughout our county and sometimes I may think of something which may be of interest to the local council.
Recently I thought of what could go into Teville Gate in Worthing so I sent my suggestion to the council.
My suggestion was to build flats and offices on the site as it’s near to the railway station. It’s also on the edge of the town centre and it is close to the seafront which would make it attractive to a company wanting to move into Worthing. Anyway, let our towns and city continue to progress.
