FORENSICS are at the scene of a "stabbing" that left one man injured with blood "spurting from his arm".
Residents on Elm Grove Road described their horror after finding the street "covered in blood" following a suspected stabbing at around 5.30am.
One man is understood to have been injured in the incident, which neighbours claimed followed a confrontation outside his home.
He was left with a "deep wound" on his right arm which "squirted quite a lot of blood" a neighbour said.
Forensics were pictured at the address this morning, with police tape cordoning off a section of the road.
Several police vehicles including a forensics van were also seen at the address as officers worked to investigate the incident.
Speaking to The Argus, a concerned neighbour said: "They started chucking wheelie bins and then it was like 'I am going to f******* stab you up, I am going to f*** you up.
"There was a trail of blood all outside my house. There was blood everywhere."
