THREE teenagers have been arrested after a violent assault left a man with serious head injuries.
The incident occurred in Castle Square, near the Royal Pavilion, Brighton, at 5.55am on Thursday September 16.
Police were called after reported of a man having been attacked.
Officers located three suspects nearby who matched descriptions given by witnesses.
The three teenagers, all from Brighton, were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
The trio were taken into custody where they remain for questioning.
The victim, a 46-year-old local man, was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital by the ambulance service with serious head injuries.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
