TOM JONES is to play at a special intimate gig in the city this evening.
The Welshman, who is known for hit singles Sexbomb, It's Not Unusual and What's New Pussycat, will be performing at Chalk in Pool Valley, Brighton.
The show has been organised by record store Resident Brighton and record label One Inch Badge, who have booked the famed singer to mark the release of his album Surrounded By Time.
The album was first released back in April but this marks the first time the songs have been performed live.
This will be one of Sir Tom's first performances since the Covid lockdown ended.
He played his first concert of 2021 on September 3, which was a homecoming gig at the Rhyl Events Arena in Wales.
The show at Chalk has been fully booked and will not be socially distanced.
The doors for the show will open at 6pm and Sir Tom will take to the stage at 8pm.
Ticket holders are being asked to arrive in plenty of time to get into the venue.
The venue is asking people not to attend if they have not previously bought tickets or if they have Covid-19 symptoms or have had close contact with someone immediately prior to the event.
Sir Tom scored his first number one album for more than 20 years with this new record.
