Severe delays on the A27 due to 'vehicle fire'
THERE are severe delays on the A27 due to reports of a vehicle fire.
The eastbound closed route has been closed and traffic is queueing traffic due to car fire from A293 (Portslade / West Hove turn off) to A2038 King George Vi Avenue (Hove turn off).
The AA says the incident was first reported shortly before 6.30am this morning.
There is congestion to the Southwick Tunnel and it is also busy along the A293 with traffic diverting around the incident.
