POLICE and the ambulance services attended a medical incident where a woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses said crews from East Sussex Fire and Rescue blocked off part of Grand Parade, Brighton to respond to a medical incident in a property at 5pm on Thursday.
Photos show at least three fire engines, a police car and an ambulance were in attendance.
A spokesman from Sussex Police said: “Police and emergency services were called to a property in Grand Parade, Brighton in response to a medical incident at 5.15pm on September 9.
“Despite the best efforts of fire and ambulance crews, who provided CPR, a woman was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
“There are no suspicious circumstances and the coroner’s officer has been informed.”
