A CAR has left the road and crashed into a house.
Emergency services including officers from Sussex Police and crews from West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service are at the scene in Wheatsheaf Road near Woodmancote.
Pictures taken from the scene show the Volkswagen wedged between a bush and the building.
Damage can be seen on the front of the house while the hedge has been partially flattened.
Several officers from Sussex Police are at the scene controlling traffic.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service has asked motorists to avoid the area while the vehicle is recovered.
A spokesman said on Twitter: "Please avoid Wheatsheaf Road near Woodmancote.
"Our crews from Henfield and Partridge Green are in attendance at the scene of a road traffic collision along with the heavy rescue tender from Crawley."
