A POLICE officer has been charged with a string of voyeurism offences.
Detective Inspector Neil Corbel, from the Metropolitan Police’s continuous policing improvement command, has been charged with 19 offences.
The alleged offences took place in the Brighton, Greater London and Manchester areas between January 2017 and February 2020.
The 40-year-old was not on duty at the time, according to the Met.
Corbel, who is currently suspended from duty, was charged on August 11.
He is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today.
The Met’s directorate of professional standards has been informed.
