PRIDE may have been cancelled this year but there has still been a chance to celebrate.
A Drag'on Boat Party took place at Brighton Marina on Sunday, an afternoon of Pride fun.
Three well-known Brighton drag artists performed live and there were shows from professional dance groups.
Andria Rudy, event consultant, said: "It was a really lovely event, it was so nice to see so many kids and families there. It went amazingly, we're so happy with how it went and the weather even held out for us.
"It was a real feelgood community event. They really are professional comedians, you know, the whole audience were in fits of laughter."
Dave Lynn, star of reality TV show Faking IT, hosted the party and was happy to be performing in his home town during Pride month.
"Our own little Pride," he said. "After all, this is Brighton and who doesn’t love Brighton? It is going to be a really fun afternoon and I am really excited to be able to work with my fellow drag artists.”

He was accompanied by fellow drag queens Portia De Fosse, a seasoned West End performer, and Snow White Trash, who came armed with her saxophone. Video: Andria Rudy PR.
Snow White Trash said: “Brighton Pride may be cancelled but Pride is all year round and I can’t wait to celebrate in the marina.
"The day will be filled with music, song and dance and a lot of lipstick and false eyelashes.”
Dance groups The Sass Squad and ODC from Marina Studios also performed at the event.
Some of the proceeds from the party went towards the LGBTQ Brighton charity The Rainbow Fund.
