A CAR has ploughed into a supermarket window in Eastbourne.
Firefighters are at the scene in Stone Cross, where a Citroen has crashed through the entrance of a Tesco Express.
Pictures from the scene show crews from East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service working to secure the site while several onlookers watch.
A cordon has been put up around the car, which appears to have shattered several of the store's windows.
Yellow bollards are in place around the vehicle.
An East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "We were called at 12.18 to reports of a road traffic collision at a supermarket in Stone Cross.
"Crews made the scene safe and handed the incident over to police and the store management team."
