POLICE have released an image of man accused of assaulting and robbing an 18-year-old.
The incident took place in The Lanes in Brighton at 1.15am on Tuesday, August 3.
An 18-year-old was reportedly approached by a man asking if he could use his mobile phone.
When the victim refused, he was assaulted by the man, causing facial injuries.
The attacker took his phone, wallet and rucksack.
Shortly after the robbery, the victim noticed his bank card was being used for transactions in the city, including at North Street Burger King.
Police were able to obtain CCTV footage from inside the fast-food restaurant and are seeking the identity of the man pictured.
Police said the 18-year-old victim is not local to the area.
