THESE photographs show the emergency services battling a major house fire.
One crew from Burgess Hill fire station is fighting a blaze at a house in Sea Lane, Middleton, near Bognor.
The fire has broken out by the post office and Peter's Newsagents.
Smoke can be seen rising above the height of the neighbouring buildings as crews attempt to put out the flames.
There is also assistance from Worthing fire station, which is providing an aerial ladder platform and Petworth Fire station, which has deployed a water carrier.
Haywards Heath fire service's incident command unit is also in attendance.

Water jets, hose reels, hydrants, and compressed air foam systems are currently being used to try to extinguish the fire.
A spokeswoman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: "We received a call to a thatched roof fire in Sea Lane, Middleton-on-sea at 14.28 pm.
"The property is currently well alight and crews from Littlehampton, Bognor, Chichester, Worthing, Shoreham and Burgess Hill are tackling the blaze, with assistance from the service’s incident command unit.
"Crews are using a compressed air foam system, jets and hose reels to extinguish the fire.
"Sussex Police and SECAmb are also in attendance.
"We will definitely be there at the scene well into the evening."
A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service said: "I can confirm ambulance crews have attended the scene.
"One male patient suffering from smoke inhalation and minor burns was assessed and treated before being taken to St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester."
