A SANDWICH made famous in the TV sitcom Friends is available to order for one day only.
Fans of the 90s show will be able to order the sandwich, complete with gravy-soaked "moist maker", in Brighton for £1 through Deliveroo Editions on Tuesday.
The sandwich will also be available from Deliveroo in London and Manchester.
Named "MY SANDWICH!!", after the post it note left by Ross Geller in the fifth season of Friends, the sandwich will come with its own warning to colleagues.
The sandwich is made with seeded granary bread, slow-cooked roasted turkey, homemade garlic and herb mayonnaise, sweet potato, cranberry sauce, crispy onions, sage and onion stuffing, salad leaves and, of course, a homemade gravy-soaked bread layer.
Priced at £1, the launch of the ‘MY SANDWICH!!’ offer comes as Deliveroo aims to make desk lunches more enjoyable for those heading back into the office.
Aisha Jefferson, from Deliveroo, said: Those heading back to the office will be able to get their hands on a sandwich that’s good enough to steal as we’ve recreated an office sandwich so famously delicious, colleagues will be reaching into the communal fridge to swipe it.
“But fear not, thanks to a special post-it note on every item saying “MY SANDWICH!!”, work mates won’t go near it.”
A vegan alternative is also available, which uses plant-based alternatives including a meat alternative, whipped vegan mayo and a plant-based gravy-drenched middle layer.
The limited-edition sandwich is set to go on sale at 11am on Tuesday, August 10, and will be available to Deliveroo customers in Brighton until sold out.
Customers can place orders directly through the Deliveroo app, or online.
