A couple have scooped a £5,162,779 jackpot prize playing the National Lottery, operator Camelot has announced.
Paul and Louise Drake from West Lothian, Scotland have become instant millionaires with the win.
The couple were pictured celebrating their win at at Deer Park Golf and Country Club in Livingston, West Lothian.
Paul and Louise, a district nurse, live with their two sons, aged 11 and 15.
Paul Drake, 47, said he “burst into tears” when he found out about the £5.1 million lottery win while in his car preparing to head to work.
He ran back into the home he shares with wife Louise, also 47, and their sons aged 11 and 15, in Seafield near Bathgate and woke her up to tell her the good news.
Both the couple are key workers but Mr Drake gave up his job as a production operator with the supermarket Lidl following the win last week. His wife is a district nurse.
Mr Drake bought his Lotto Lucky Dip tickets from the One Stop store in Seafield and matched all six main numbers – 23, 26, 34, 36, 44 and 59 – in the draw on Wednesday July 28 to scoop the jackpot.
