A ROAD has now been cleared following a car accident.
Three cars were involved in an accident in Eastern Road, Brighton near the Royal Sussex County Hospital this morning.
The road was closed, and Brighton and Hove buses were diverted through Kemp Town and along the seafront to avoid the scene.
An AA report said: "Reports of accident, three cars involved, in Eastern Road, Brighton, near the Royal Sussex County Hospital.
“Traffic is coping well.”
Sussex Police described the incident as a “minor injury collision".
