A DRIVER accused of reaching speeds of up to 200mph on the M23 during lockdown is due to appear in court today.
James Hollett, 39, of Grouse Road, Pease Pottage, is set to appear at Crawley Magistrates’ Court this afternoon.
The charges include dangerous driving, relating to speeding on the M23 near Crawley on April 26, 2020.
He is also accused of aggravated vehicle taking, relating to the same incident.
Hollett also faces dangerous driving charges relating to an incident on the A24 near Horsham on June 2, 2019.
The summons, authorised by the Crown Prosecution Service, follows an extensive investigation by Sussex Police.
