A DRIVER will appear in court accused of speeding at more than 100mph on the A27.
Police who stopped the car in Worthing said it was travelling at 109mph.
The speed was measured by officers who followed the woman in a marked police car.
The driver was reported to court for the offence.
Taking to Twitter, Sussex Road Police shared an image of the speed gun used to measure the driver's speed and said: "We have just stopped a driver on the A27 in Worthing travelling at 109mph.
"This speed was measured whilst following her in a fully marked police vehicle.
"Driver reported to court."
