A TRIBUTE to a legendary rock band is back touring with its critically acclaimed show.
The UK Pink Floyd Experience celebrates 50 years of Pink Floyd by recreating the sights and sounds of the band in concert.
Pink Floyd was an English rock band formed in London in 1965. They gained an early following as one of the first British psychedelic groups.
They were distinguished for their extended compositions, sonic experimentation, philosophical lyrics and elaborate live shows.
The band was one of the leaders of the progressive rock genre.
The tribute show will include songs from seminal albums such as Dark Side of the Moon, Animals, Wish you Were Here, The Wall, Another Brick in the Wall and Comfortably Numb.
Featuring seven musicians and crew, the show tries to recreate the atmosphere of the legendary Pink Floyd in concert, including some of the band images projected onto a large circular screen and a light show.
Bass player and vocalist David Power said: "We are always pleased with the positive reaction to the show, and it seems we leave audiences on a Pink Floyd high."
The show will be playing at the Pavilion Theatre in Marine Parade, Worthing, on August 19.
After the performance, the tribute will also be playing at another Sussex venue, The Hawth in Crawley, on February 28 next year.
The show is open to people of all ages and will start at 7.30 pm, and it is expected to last 170 minutes.
One fan of the show said: "I sat spellbound by a dazzling celebration of everything that made Pink Floyd the psychedelic phenomenon they were."
Another said: "Back to back with the original band, it would be impossible to distinguish between them."
Tickets for the show cost £26 for a band A space or £24 for a restricted view. FWT members can also receive a discount of 10 per cent.
There is a maximum of ten tickets allowed for the event per online order.
