ANOTHER incident has occurred on the A23 northbound and the outside lane is closed at Pyecombe.
Police and fire vehicles are at the scene and a photograph shows only one vehicle appears to be involved.
Police and fire services have been contacted for comment.
This is the third incident to occur today, Sunday August 1, as police previously closed the A23 northbound this morning.
A van caught fire between Muddleswood and Hickstead and was attended by the West Sussex Fire and Rescue crew.
A car came off the road and collided with a hedgerow, the driver self extricated with Sussex East Coast Ambulance Service supervision.
