A FIRE broke out at Crawley Goods Yard last night and was attended to by firefighters.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue were called to the scene of a fire at the aggregates depot in Gatwick Road at 10.40pm on Saturday July 31.
A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue said the incident is thought to have involved recycling materials at a business' site.
Firefighters used one jet and one hose reel to put out the fire.
A spokesman said: "Six appliances attended - these were from Horsham, Crawley, Turners Hill, Godstone, Reigate, Brighton's aerial ladder platform and the water carrier from Uckfield."
There are no reports of any injuries from the incident and the crews finished at 12.50am.
