A MAN has been seriously injured after a collision involving a motorcycle and a car.

Officers were called to Brighton Road, Horsham, on July 19 at around 4pm following a report of a crash between a motorbike and a black Volkswagen.

The man, 65, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment, he was then discharged to recover at home.

A 36-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specific controlled drug above the specified limit.

She was released under investigation while the police continue their enquiries.

The investigating officers are appealing for any witnesses to come forward, particularly if they have any dash cam footage of the collision.
