A COFFEE company is to open a new city centre bar and restaurant and create more than a hundred new jobs.
Small Batch Coffee Company will open its new restaurant in The Lanes, Brighton later this year.
A launch date has not yet been confirmed but a spokesman said the new restaurants marks “a new direction” for the company.
Small Batch Bar and Kitchen will be open from 7.30am to 10pm every day and will offer coffee and breakfast in the mornings and its new Brighton’s Brunch menu throughout the day.
From 6pm to 10pm it will serve a new restaurant menu prepared by the Small Batch chefs alongside an offer of Brighton craft beers and East Sussex wines.
The announcement of the Small Batch restaurant is part of an expansion which is being led by its new owner Professor Stefan Allesch-Taylor and is set to create more than 100 new jobs.

“We are committed to continuing to invest in the Brighton and Hove area, with new hires, partnerships with local charities and broadening our offering of drinking and dining concepts.
“A key element of the new ownership is our commitment to community engagement, which plays an important part in Stefan’s approach to business.
