THE Royal Pavilion is one of the best value tourist attractions in the UK, according to a recent study.
With an annual pass for adults costing £16 and with negative reviews only making up two per cent of the total, the former royal residence scored 9.66 out of ten in the study by Money.co.uk.
The Pavilion also offers discounted day tickets for residents of Brighton and Hove, with adults costing £8, and admission for up to four children free of charge.
The Brighton landmark was also joined in the top 15 by Arundel Castle, which scored 9.65.
However, both were beaten to the top spot by Salisbury Cathedral, with a ticket price of £9 and bad reviews making up just 0.61 per cent of their total.

Placing worst for value was the Marble Arch Mound in London, which has been forced to close after only three days. The £2 million attraction saw bad reviews make up 89 per cent of their total, with one disgruntled visitor describing the experience on Twitter as “the worst thing I’ve ever done in London.”

Those who visited the attraction are being refunded the £6.50 ticket price and invited back for free when the mound reopens at a later date.
Also appearing in the list for worst value for money were many world-famous London attractions, including London Dungeons, Madame Tussauds and Buckingham Palace.
