A PUB football team will be "living the dream" as they will be playing at the home of football next week.
The Victoria, a football team that represents the pub in Victoria Road, Portslade, will be playing at Wembley Stadium after qualifying for the final of the BT Sports Pub Cup.
The team, captained by Owen Scerri, will be travelling to London after they won a 32-team seven-a-side tournament at Bishman Abbey in Marlow - the former training ground for the England football team.
The BT Sports Pub Cup, dubbed the "greatest grassroots football competition of them all", was set up to give pub football players the chance to live out their football fantasies.
The Victoria will be representing the southern regions and taking on the team that qualifies from the Northern regions, who are playing at Manchester City's Etihad Campus.

The Portslade-based team got through to the final the hard way. They needed to beat the group leaders by three goals to qualify for the knockout stages in their last group game, a feat they managed in the final minutes of the game.
After being able to overcome the group favourites, the Victoria managed to win their quarter-final and semi-final matches which set up a match against the England Futsal team.
The Victoria managed to keep them at bay and scored a last-minute winner, which cemented their trip to Wembley.
Owen Scerri, from Hove, said: "We are just a group of mates from school that love football and pulled together to form a team.
"It is mad that the day before we play, the Community Shield will be played on the same pitch.
"I don't think it has sunk in for everyone yet, it is completely surreal and it is going to be a completely unforgettable experience.
"None of us will make it as professional footballers now, and it does not get any better than playing at Wembley.
"I always find it funny when you see people on TV say that they are speechless, but now I understand. After we won, I was without words."
The final will be 11-a-side and will be played on August 8, the day after the Premier League champions, Manchester City, take on the FA Cup winners, Leicester City, in the Community Shield.
The team will be taking 15 players up to Wembley Stadium and are looking forward to making use of the facilities at the ground.
The 21-year-old said: "Everyone is so excited, it will literally be a dream come true.
"We needed to expand the squad for the final as it is bigger teams, and we have had everyone we know asking if they can join in.
"I think there are some nice hot tubs and ice baths there, which we will be hoping to use after the game, it will be very different to playing in the local park."
The winners of the tournament will receive free BT Sport for a year and £1,000 to spend at the BT Shop.
