TRAINS are at a standstill due to a signalling fault.
Shortly after 8am, Southern Rail confirmed the fault at Rye w causing delays to and from Ashford International.
A spokesman for the service said: "Trains are at a stand at Rye, blocking both lines, due to the signalling issue.
"As a result, train services through the station will be cancelled or delayed so please check ahead."
A rail replacement bus service to Ashford International and Rye and Hastings has been requested.
However, once they are confirmed they will will take about one hour to arrive in the area.
"We are sorry for the disruption this morning," the spokesman added.
