TWO pedestrians were injured after being hit by a taxi.
The incident occurred on King’s Road in Brighton about 1.30am on Saturday.
Police said one pedestrian, a man, suffered a head injury during the collision.
Another man suffered a leg injury.
Both men were taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton for treatment.
The taxi driver was unhurt in the collision.
A witness said the two young men were hit by the taxi while crossing the road outside the Odeon cinema.
“One of the boys were in the middle of the road with a head injury and the other was also being looked after by the police complaining about the pain in his legs,” he said. “He was also in tears and more worried about the wellbeing of his friend.
“The cab involved had a shattered windshield. It was evident that one of the victims was thrown over the cab.”
