A NEW virtual high street service that aims to support independent businesses has attracted more than 80 stores across Brighton and Hove.
Residents in the city can use Click It Local, enabling them to buy from local shops and have their products delivered the same day.
From weekly shops and last-minute basics to gifts and treats, customers can buy from as many shops as they like with just one payment and one delivery.
Some of the stores that have already signed up include The Real Patisserie, Infinity Foods, The Cheese Hut, Pen to Paper and Metrodeco.
Founder of Click It Local Steve Koch said: “We are delighted that so many stores have signed up to the service in Brighton.
“Our mission is to save high streets and independent stores across the UK by making shopping local easier and faster.
“We hope to further expand our services to independents across Sussex, encourage local shops to sign up and for the community to support their local businesses.”
Click It Local started in Cambridge last year, with its success seeing it grow to London, Hertfordshire, Essex and Surrey.
Customers can place orders at any local or independent shop signed up to the scheme, with orders placed before 1pm receiving same-day or next day delivery.
