A MOTORCYCLIST will appear in court after he was caught speeding over 100mph on a major carriageway.
Officers from Sussex Police stopped the rider after he was clocked at 106mph on the A27.
The speed limit on the dual carriageway, which is used by thousands every day, is 70 mph.
According to the force, he was reported and will receive a summons to attend court.
Sharing an image of the bike on Twitter a spokesman said: "Motorcycle stopped on A27 after we recorded its speed at 106mph.
"He has been reported and will receive a summons to attend court in due course."
