SOCIAL distancing rules will remain in place in all Cineworld auditoriums – including the Duke of York’s Picturehouse.
The nation’s leading cinema chain confirmed they will keep social distancing rules in place in all auditoriums in England, despite the easing of Covid restrictions.
Hand sanitiser stations, deep cleaning and plastic till screens will also remain in place.
The announcement comes as other cinema chains removed all social distancing measures following "Freedom Day" on July 19.
Picturehouse Cinemas, which operates a network of cinemas in the UK, is owned by Cineworld.
As a result, Duke Of York's Picturehouse in Preston Road and Dukes at Komedia Picturehouse on Gardner Street will also keep social distancing rules in place.
Night Shyamalan’s Old, The Suicide Squad and Disney’s Jungle Cruise are among the new releases for film fans to enjoy at Cineworld’s nationwide.
More information can be found on the Cineworld website, with a dedicated page with information regarding Covid-19 safety measures.
