A CRASH and roadworks on the A259 is causing traffic delays in the area.

South Way westbound was partially blocked, with traffic queueing following the accident in South Road, Newhaven.

Congestion to the A26 is queueing almost back to Beddingham, with a travel time of around 55 minutes.

Traffic is also backed up from Newhaven to Seaford.

Piddinghoe Road is also struggling.
