A DRIVER has escaped with minor injuries after colliding with a parked car and flipping on a village road.
The driver failed a roadside breath test after flipping the car in Hurstpierpoint, near Burgess Hill last night.
Officers from Sussex Police as well as crews from the South East Coast Ambulance Service were called to the scene.
Sharing a picture of the incident online, officers revealed the damage sustained to the parked car, while the car that was suspected of striking it remained flipped.
A spokesman from Sussex Police said: "Crash in Hurstpierpoint this evening.
"The driver- thankfully with only relatively minor injuries- failed a roadside breath test after colliding with a parked car, and is currently assisting Mid Sussex Police with enquiries."
