CHANNING Tatum’s Magic Mike Live show is to return to the stage in Brighton next year.
The stage show, which features muscular men performing dance routines, will be staged at Brighton Centre after extra dates were added to its UK tour.
It is set to take place in front of a full-capacity audience on May 18.
Channing Tatum starred in the Magic Mike films, which were inspired by his own experience as a stripper.
The actor created and co-directed the stage show, but will not be performing on the tour.
Magic Mike Live co-director Alison Faulk said: “This is not Magic Mike Live with more seats. Our arena tour is something totally different.
“After a year of isolation and frustration, we want to give women something that makes them feel alive again - a sort of celebratory revival that makes them want to stand on their chairs, dance with their friends and feel connected to each other.
“The show is a once in a lifetime celebration of togetherness, sexuality and freedom that only an arena can hold. We want our guys to give our fans the best night of their lives with a party they’ll never forget.”
Magic Mike Live opened in Las Vegas in April 2017 where it broke box office records and its stars performed to sold out crowds.
The stage show premiered in Berlin in 2020 and the Australia national tour opened in Sydney in December 2020.
Tickets are on general sale from today priced from £55.00 and are available from www.brightoncentre.co.uk or can be booked by calling 0844 8471515.
