SMOKE has been seen billowing from a property after a fire broke out on a residential street.
Crews from East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service are attending the blaze in Lexden Drive, Seaford.
Pictures taken from the scene show smoke coming out of the front door and "up the walls", while members of the public watch on.
At least one fire engine is at the scene working to extinguish the blaze.
A passerby told The Argus that there was some concern from nearby neighbours over the safety of those that lived inside.
They said: "There was a lot of smoke coming out of the front door and up the walls.
"People were coming from nearby to check everyone was ok."
