REMNANTS of a suspected cannabis cultivation set-up have been found flytipped.
Last night, Sussex Police Rural Crime Team said they were investigating the rubbish, which was found in Polegate.
Cannabis can be grown indoors using artificial light and given water.
However, cultivating cannabis indoors is more complicated.
A spokesman for the force said: "We've been investigating a report of a flytip near Polegate alongside Wealden District Council.
"It appears to be the remnants of a #cannabis cultivation set-up.
"This is another lesser known but still damaging side effect of illegal substance production."
Anyone with information can contact the police quoting reference 1170 of 15/7/21.
