A TOUCHING mural has been painted in tribute to Chris Eubank’s son Sebastian following his death.
The 29-year-old, who had recently become a father for the first time, died while in Dubai, just days before his 30th birthday.
A large mural has been painted in Trafalgar Lane, Brighton, in his memory.
The artwork shows his face alongside the words “RIP Sebastian Eubank, 91-21”.
It appears to have been painted by Brighton and Hove-based street artist Fek – known for his Grumpy Monkey designs which can be spotted around the city.
Candles and flowers had also been laid underneath the mural in remembrance of Sebastian.
Oliver Dall, who spotted the artwork, said the mural is the perfect way to remember Sebastian.
“In my opinion, the art is beautiful,” he said. “I can't imagine how his father, family and friends are feeling right now.”
Sebastian’s father Chris Eubank Sr, a former world champion boxer, paid a tribute to his “loved and respected son” following news of the tragic death.
"Never did I ever imagine I would write these words or experience the feeling I now have at the loss of my son,” he said.
"My family and I are devastated to hear of the death of Sebastian just days before what would have been his 30th birthday.
“He leaves his wife Salma, his son Raheem born just a month ago, his mother Karron Meadows, brothers Nathanael, Chris Jr, Joseph, one sister Emily and countless relatives and friends.
“Sebastian grew up in Hove in England but in the last few years made his life in Dubai where he had a wide circle of friends and was a leader in the adoption of a healthy lifestyle and of alternative therapies."
Chris Eubank Jr also paid tribute to his brother, stating he had not cried since he was 12 years old, until he heard the news.
"I’m sorry I wasn’t there to watch your back like a big brother’s supposed to,” he said.
"Can’t believe you’re really gone man, but you’ll always be in my heart, mind and spirit.
"Now your legacy will live on through your beautiful new born son and I will treat him like my own.
"Watch over us until we meet again young lion.”
Sebastian had fought twice as a professional boxer, winning both fights on points.
