A POLICE car has been left damaged after colliding with a Volvo.
Pictures taken from the scene show the marked police car stationary in the A29, Bognor Regis.
The vehicle sustained light damage to its front left side, partially losing its bumper and damaging its bonnet.
Members of the public can be seen to watch on, as officers partially closed one lane to allow crews to investigate the incident.
A spokesman from Sussex Police said: "A police car was involved in a slow-speed collision with a Volvo on the A29, Bognor Regis, about 5.19pm on Thursday, July 8.
"A police officer sustained minor injuries; no other injuries were reported.
"A section of the road was temporarily closed to enable both vehicles to be recovered."
The crash comes after a police officer suffered a broken arm when a driver leaving an illegal rave crashed into a police car.
Images taken from the scene showed the wrecked police car stationary on the road with its airbags deployed.
