LOVE ISLAND contestant Lucinda Strafford has already made impression on the boys after joining the cast of the hit show.
The 21-year-old from Brighton made a dramatic entrance to the villa last night alongside fellow newcomer and Essex girl Millie Court.
Lucinda, who attended Downlands Community School in Hassocks, looks set to cause a stir, with many of the boys admitting that she could sway them away from their current partners.
But away from the spotlight, Lucinda is no stranger to glamour having lived a jet set lifestyle before entering the villa.
Her Instagram, which has more than 38,000 followers, is full of snaps of her visiting stunning destinations such as St Lucia, Mauritius and The Maldives.
Lucinda was made redundant from her job as an air hostess at British Airways during lockdown, according to The Sun, and has since go one to launch her own online fashion boutique– The Luxe Range.
She will hoping to follow in the footsteps of former contestants Laura Anderson and Worthing’s Amy Hart, who had both previously worked in the airline industry, and became fan favourites.
Lucinda says that her time in the industry has prepared her for living in the Love Island villa.
She said: “I’m used to that thing of meeting someone and then needing to be with them constantly as I was cabin crew,” she said.
When asked if she has flown with any celebrities, she added: “Yes I did, I flew Dannii Minogue, Usain Bolt and Nick Grimshaw.
“They were all so fun. They were pressing the call button and specifically asking for me.”
Lucinda added that she signed up for Love Island because she is “a relationship kind of girl”.
Before entering the villa, Lucinda was in a relationship with Brighton and Hove Albion footballer Aaron Connolly.
The pair were together for two years and they even created an Instagram account dedicated to their new home.
Love Island continues on ITV2 and the ITV Hub.
