A DRIVER abandoned their car after it crashed and flipped on a quiet residential street overnight.
Emergency services including crews from Sussex Police and West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were "tied up for hours" dealing with the rolled-over car last night.

The driver fled the scene after it crashed and flipped on its roof.
After searching for the person behind the wheel she was eventually tracked down, a police officer said.

Writing on Twitter, PC Tom Van Der Wee said: "Another driver overnight who crashed and abandoned their car.
"Multiple Police and West Sussex Fire and Rescue resources were tied up for hours dealing with the rollover RTC and searching for the driver.
"She was eventually tracked down and is helping us with our enquiries!"
