Matt Hancock, the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, has refused to comment on the story that appeared in The Argus and other newspapers
about him having an affair with one of his top advisers, with one of his friends saying that he would not speak to journalists about "personal matters" and that "no rules have been broken".
If "no rules have been broken" perhaps he can explain how he managed to kiss and cuddle his lady friend without breaking the rules he himself laid down with regarding to social distancing and the wearing of face coverings.
It could, of course, be the case that he has come up with his very own way of kissing someone while wearing a mask and standing one metre away from
them or, more likely, just another case of "one rule for them and one for the rest of us".
