I DO not see why the Prime Minister has to be put under pressure by anyone in this country, especially the public just because they are going to miss out on a holiday and booze.
People ought to give him praise for the courage he has to take on decision he knows will make him very,very unpopular with all and sundry, especially business people.
This Indian variant needs to be understood and controlled before we can start to think of getting back to normal.
If ever that happens we can thank our lucky stars we're not one of those poor people who have become a victim of this dreadful virus.
I speak as an older person who grew up with a ration book. Go without? Some of you don't know you're born so be grown-up and respectful, have faith and patience and we will get through as a nation. United we stand, divided we fall.
