MARINA residents have been promised that no more football games will be shown on its Big Screen after concerns about Sunday’s England game.
The giant screen welcomed hundreds of fans this weekend to watch the team’s opening game against Croatia.
It was the first game to be shown on the big screen.

In a statement to residents of Brighton Marina, Premier Marinas, said: “We’d like to advise that we have raised our concerns earlier to Brighton Marina Estates regarding the lack of controls in place for Saturdays (sic) football screening.
“Premier Marinas does not control this part of the marina complex.
“We have been advised that no further football matches will be screened."

Gates were set up at the entrance to the game on Sunday to control the number of people entering the event.
Brighton Marina had previously announced that the venue was “operating at 50 per cent capacity”.
Cans and bottles were thrown in the crowd during the game. Some fans stayed behind to clear up the rubbish and glass.

The marina was due to show all the matches, not just the England games.
After the game on Sunday, Brighton Marina said that “due to unforeseen circumstances”, no more games were taking place that day.
A spokesman announced yesterday morning that all games had been canceled for Monday also.
