A TEENAGER has been arrested after a defibrillator was smashed and stolen from a football club.
Police are investigating the incident, which is believed to have happened in the early hours of yesterday morning at Buxted Football Club in Uckfield.
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage and remains in custody for questioning.
Officers say two people were involved and enquiries are ongoing in relation to the second suspect.
A spokesman for Sussex Police added: "Officers are aware of a video circulating on social media and would like to remind the public that it is a criminal offence to name a person under 18 who has been arrested or charged with an offence."
Anyone with information that could help police with the investigation is urged to report online or call 101, quoting 551 of 13/06.
