A PARTIAL solar eclipse will be visible this morning as the moon passes between the earth and the sun.
Starting at 10.07am, it will be possible to see nearly a third of the sun being blocked out by the moon in what is known as an annular eclipse.
It will reach its maximum at 11.14am and will finish at 12.26pm.
Solar eclipses happen when the Moon comes between Earth and the Sun.
Partial eclipses happen every one or two years, when the sun and moon are exactly in line with the earth but the apparent size of the moon is smaller than that of the sun.
