A MAN suspected of attempting sexual activity with young children in a park as been arrested.
Two young girls were reported to have been approached by a man in Hassocks Park on Saturday, May 29.
Sussex Police are trying to find the children, who are believed to be aged between nine and 11.
The man, described as white, about 30, slim, wearing a blue baseball cap, blue jumper and grey tracksuit bottoms.
He was seen to be "acting indecently" at the skate park in the Memorial gardens.
He was also seen to approach and speak to the girls, though he did not touch them.
PC Natalie Baynes of the West Sussex safeguarding investigations unit said; "We would like to talk to these two girls to establish exactly what happened, and to anyone else who witnessed the incident.

A man aged 30 has been arrested on suspicion of attempted sexual activity with a child.
After being interviewed, he was released on police bail with conditions until June 26.
