A POLICE block was put in place after caravans started arriving at a beauty spot.
Sussex Police blocked off Marine Drive, Ferring, between Sea Lane and Aldsworth Avenue after caravans began arriving at Goring Gap yesterday afternoon.
Pictures taken from the site show the caravans and other vehicles parked at the getaway spot, which sees thousands of visitors each summer.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: "We are aware and are responding to reports of antisocial behaviour and criminal damage involving a number of vehicles at Goring Gap this evening.
"Our officers, working in liaison with local authorities, have attended and are engaging with the group."
Last month, The Argus reported how caravans at the site were served with notices ordering them to leave.
A court hearing was booked for Wednesday 28 April, which would have given the power to enforce the notices should the caravans of failed to vacate of their own accord.
At the time, West Sussex County Council said they were continuing to monitor the site, along with Sussex Police.
