A TRADITIONAL British shoemaker has announced the opening of a new store.
Loake Shoemakers' new store will be in East Street, Brighton. The company has wanted to open a Brighton branch for a while. They will be offering their collections of high-quality shoes to customers.
They are looking forward to giving guidance on footwear, making sure people have the most comfortable fit and advice on maintaining footwear so it will last.
A spokesman for Loake Shoemakers said: "We are dedicated to investing in our high streets and have been especially keen to open a shop in this wonderful coastal town for some time now.
"It is the perfect location for our 140-year-old family brand and collections of handcrafted footwear.
"The team will be on hand to impart their professional tips and keep your prized possessions in excellent condition for years to come.
Loake specialises in handcrafted Goodyear-welted shoes, which have a strip of leather, rubber or plastic running along the perimeter of the shoe.
There will be loads of other styles to choose from, such as boots, trainers, loafers and brogues.
