THREE youths have been charged after a teenage boy was pushed and spat at in a group attack.
Police are urging the victim, who has not yet been identified, to come forward after the assault in Linden Road in Bognor last Monday, May 17.
The boy, who is white with light brown hair and aged between 15 and 16, was wearing a red sports jacket and jeans when he was pushed and spat at by a group of boys between 4.30pm and 5.30pm.
The attackers, aged between 13 and 17, were all wearing tracksuits and medical face masks.
A 29-year-old man who intervened to check on the victim was then also attacked by the youths, and the boy disappeared.
Sussex Police said they are not aware of any injuries sustained by either victim at this stage.
Three boys, two aged 15 and one aged 17, were arrested on suspicion of affray and assault involving the two victims, assault on police and resisting arrest.
After being interviewed they were all charged with resisting arrest, assault on police, and breach of Community Protection Notices.
Police are asking the boy who was first assaulted to get in touch so officers can establish a complete picture of what happened.
