HUNDREDS of people are calling for Steve Coogan to host the One Show in character.
The petition to BBC bosses wants the actor, previously from Brighton, to host the prime time show with This Time co-star Susannah Fielding.
This Time with Alan Partridge is a British television comedy which began in 2019 and is broadcast on BBC One.
"As This Time is a clear parody of shows such as The One Show we all want to see Steve Coogan and Susannah Fielding guest present a one off episode,"the petition says.
There have now been 348 people who have signed.
Under reasons for signing, Iain Mitchell wrote: "Give him another series."
Christopher moss writes: "I'm medically addicted to Toblerone."

Sussex resident Steve Coogan returned to screens in This Time last month.
The second season of the popular BBC show follows Partridge as he battles to try and keep his spot as the show's established co-presenter amid controversies surrounding his on-air remarks.
Coogan first created the character Alan Partridge in 1991, for the BBC Radio Four comedy programme On The Hour.
Since then, he has proved a massive hit with fans.
He also stared in Greed last year, a film about a ruthless, white-toothed, perma-tanned retail tycoon.
