A WOMAN has been arrested after police raided a home as part of an ongoing operation into drug activity in Rye.
Officers from the Neighbourhood Enforcement Team executed a warrant in Peasmarsh yesterday, as part of continued work to disrupt the supply of drugs in the area.
Items were seized from the address and one woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to conceal, disguise, convert, transfer, and remove criminal property.
She has been released on conditional bail while enquiries continue.
The search was the latest of a series of warrants executed under Operation Reclaim, which targets drug activity in the town.
A spokesman from Sussex Police said: "The investigation is ongoing, and anyone who has any information or concerns relating to the use, supply or distribution of drugs in the community is asked to contact police online or by calling 101.
"Alternatively, information can be passed to police anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
