A STUDENT was shocked to look out of her window and see popstar Harry Styles chain-smoking in a wedding suit.
The 27-year-old was spotted in a Brighton alley with co-star Emma Corrin while filming movie My Policeman.
The pair were both dressed in 1950s attire with Harry smoking for the shoot and chatting to Emma between takes.
Video footage shows him dressed in a dapper suit with a lapel flower - as if going to a wedding.
Student Maria Andrews, 22, spotted the crew filming the Amazon Original movie based on the book of the same name.
She said: "We were advised about the filming but told that it was a different film - a BBC thing - I guess so as not to draw attention to it.
"They had been setting up for about a week.
"They had to paint garage doors to make then look 1950s style, but Harry and Emma were there for about two hours working on the same shot.
"There was a big group of fans on Holland Road waiting all day for Harry to leave the set and wave at them."
Filming of the screen adaptation Bethan Robert’s 2012 novel has been taking place in multiple locations across Sussex.
Harry plays Tom, a gay policeman who marries Marion, played by Emma, to conceal his secret relationship with a young man called Patrick.
Filming began in Worthing earlier this month.
Photographs shared on Twitter show Harry filming an on-screen kiss with Emma outside The Vine pub in Tarring.
Film trailers, several classic cars and large camera crews have been pictured in the carpark of Worthing Leisure Centre.
Harry and Emma, who shot to fame in Netflix hit The Crown, have also been seen filming at the Royal Pavilion and the Brighton Dome.
Filming has also been seen taking place in Regency Square.

Award-winning theatre director Michael Grandage is shooting a screenplay by Oscar-winner Ron Nyswaner, who penned 1993 legal drama Philadelphia.
It has not yet been confirmed when the film will be released, but it is understood to hit the big screen next year.
Harry made his acting debut in Christopher Nolan’s 2017 war film Dunkirk and will star in Olivia Wilde’s psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling.
